Hunters Garden Marlborough is in its 16th year of running, we have exciting and new tours and workshops lined up for this year. Full event details will be available in May. The New Zealand Arboricultural Association (NZAA), in conjunction with STIHL, presents the National Tree Climbing Championship (NTCC) for 2009. This annual competition will be held in late November at Pollard Park in Blenheim, as part of the NZAA Annual Convention. Qualifiers for this event (the Top 5 Men and Women in each regional TCC, plus selected Wildcards) will be vying to win the National title and the chance to represent New Zealand at the International TCC in Chicago in 2010. The stunning 40km mountain bike course is unchanged from 2008 and will test the hardened weekend warrior. Some would say the course has been well and truly tamed with yet again a lowering of the fastest time in 2008 by Olympian rider Robin Reid with a time of 1hr 48 seconds. If you didn't hear what Robin said to the "Moa Man" as he crossed the line we will tell you, "man that was a wicked course".
